Looking for an alternative to walking around, street after street, with your child(ren) collecting candy on Halloween?
On Halloween night, from 5-8pm, the parishioners at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (210 Hazel St.) will host a “trunk or treat” event for all.
Trunk or treat events have become quite popular in the past few years as a way to avoid walking around the neighborhood, and as a safer way of trick-or-treating, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area.
If you are interested, stop by St. Paul’s to view some creatively decorated car trunks that will be full of candy for the little ones. There will also be games and prizes for all trick or treaters.
Hot dogs and beverages will be provided as well, along with music. There is no charge.
